A colleague of mine recommending Kamilla is honestly one of the greatest things that could have happened for my Norwegian skills. I highly recommend Kamilla as a Norwegian teacher for students of all levels. Having started with her at the A1 level and progressed to A2 Kamilla strikes the perfect balance between patience and pushing her students to excel, making her an outstanding educator. What sets Kamilla apart for me is her ability to create lasting impressions. Even after considerable time has passed since my lessons with her, I still cherish many memories from her classes that is applicable to my daily Norwegian language skills. I've noticed that many things about Norsk are hammered into my brain which is very difficult with any language learning apps or other methods :)

Learning Norwegian grammar isn't exactly the most exciting thing in the world, but with Kamilla it's quite fun! She always keeps the group of students up and full of good energy, no matter how difficult the topic is. Her humor, positive attitude and all the cultural discussions make every class something to look forward to. I've studied with her from A1 to B2, and she's managed to keep the same enthusiasm and spark up the whole time. It's honestly the first time I haven't minded going through verb tables and grammar rules.

What to say about the best language teacher someone can have! Kamilla is the best! I have had a few Norsk teachers and by far Kamilla’s methodology, approach and passion for languages made it so much easier and FUN! Yes, her classes used to be the highlight of my week. Although very intense (as it is to learn a different language) she has an amazing sense of humour, and expect good banter (and to be told off if homework isn’t done). On top of that Kamilla is a singer, contributing with a mix of creativity and sharp ears when it comes to the pronunciation’s nuances. So be ready for some fine Norskkurs, miss those classes dearly☺️

When I started having classes with Kamilla I wasn't able to have a conversation in Norwegian and I was in a group course. I liked her way of teaching so much that I decided to continue private classes. With her you can learn from daily topics, news, expressions, correct typical errors in the moment and not only for speaking but also for listening and writing with really dynamic homeworks and lessons. She is very nice, and you will never stop talking and improving. It helped me a lot since when I did my first job interview in norwegian I was really happy to do it fully in norwegian after a few months having private classes with her. I even got the job, so It worked super well and that was all because of her work. I even continued afterwards with a 2 people group with the goal of keeping improving and reaching the B2 in the official exam. It worked perfectly for correcting errors. She is very understanding and is open to new ideas or adapting a bit the classes, for example for the exam I wanted to practice much more the writing and we had a really good way to practice that. Before having classes with her, I had a non native teacher that didn't work at all, and short and expensive courses in Alfaskolen with big groups and that didn't work at all because it was super short and there were too many people. Honestly, having the classes with her was what really made a change in my Norwegian skills, I completely recommend having her as a teacher because it is super worth it and she is super friendly and funny too, so the classes are interesting and not boring at all. :)

I've been studying with Kamilla for two years, and I can say it’s been an amazing experience. She can guide students from the very basics all the way to advanced language levels. She’s not only very skilled and well-prepared as a teacher, but she also speaks several languages, which helps her give examples in the student’s native tongue or in ways that are easier to understand.

I can honestly say that Kamilla is the best Norwegian teacher I have had in my 10 years living in Norway. I’ve tried different courses, but none were as engaging and useful as her classes. It felt like I was learning Norwegian with a friend. We spoke about real, everyday things (news in Norway, world events, life in general) which made me feel so much more confident in how to have genuine conversations with Norwegians. I loved the focus on speaking but also writing; two things always missing from other courses I’ve tried. I hope to be able to join another course again soon. Highly recommended!
